Traditional lending is in crisis: SME property professionals are struggling to access the finance they need, and investors are receiving inferior rates of interest due to high overhead banking costs.
CrowdProperty’s founders built our business to tackle these fundamental issues. We provide quick and easy finance to property professionals whilst giving investors inflation-beating interest, all whilst meeting the rising demand for quality residential housing in the process.
Our founders are leaders in the property industry. Using their experience, we ensure we select and oversee only the very best projects for investment. We use our advanced technology to pair investors directly with borrowers so we all share in the projects’ success, keeping true to the original fair ethos of marketplace lending.
Founded in 2014, we swiftly became one of the UK’s leading specialist property project lenders, facilitating millions of pounds worth of short-term loans to SME property professionals and changing the game of property project finance.
CrowdProperty has been FCA authorised and regulated since the 1st November 2017, having proven that our processes are robust, our platform stable and our due diligence rigorous - as well as confirming our commitment to transparency and client focus.
In September 2018, the business became a member of the P2PFA, elected by the biggest and most reputable platforms in the sector for our exemplary operating process.
In January 2020, CrowdProperty was announced as a founding member of the Innovate Finance 36H Group which succeeded the P2PFA. This collection of market leaders in the specialist lending industry focuses on policy and regulatory matters and promoting the benefits of the marketplace lending sector.
We continue to invest across all levels and functions of the business.
Our founding team shares almost 100 years’ property experience and have their own extensive property portfolios. Our critical edge is that we understand the intricacies of projects and developments, which enables us to complete stronger, quicker and more relevant due diligence and to lend more on occasion than traditional lenders.
