The proposed project is situated at Land to the West of Ash Close, Barlborough, Chesterfield, S43 4XL . Barlborough has a population of 3,261 people (2011 census) and is located approximately 15 miles south east of Sheffield and 12 miles north of Mansfield - access to the M1 (J 30) is within a mile.

Barlborough is a village and civil parish in the Bolsover district of Derbyshire. Major employers in Derbyshire include Rolls Royce Group, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Ltd and Eco Bat Technologies Ltd. The site is located off Ash Close and across a service road which serves a nursery and three retail units.

Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre and Retail Park – 5.7 miles
Heritage High School - 1.3 Miles
Dobbies Garden Centre – 0.4 miles
Hotel Ibis – 0.4 miles
Barlborough NHS Treatment Centre – 0.3 miles
